Will I see better job opportunities at my minesite or is it time to move on?

Do you see any changes in my work regarding better job opportunities in my current work place? Im on a Minesite and we will be coming into the busy season soon. Im enrolling for my Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety so I hope I will be leaving this job behind b4 too long? How do I keep my perspective and stay positive here with the work and people as I feel I have been undervalued over the last 2 years here as I have been given fairly simple jobs. Or is it time for me to move on? I feel like I could do better but it's good for me financially?

Honestly, that tension between wanting something that matches your actual capability and needing the financial cushion is heavy to carry on a minesite. When you have spent two years doing work below your skill level, perspective does not come from just "thinking positive"—it comes from knowing exactly what the current setup is funding. The Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is the practical lever here. It changes your position from someone waiting to be noticed to someone building an exit strategy with a concrete timeline. While the busy season approaches and coworkers hand you the same simple tasks, treat those shifts not as a reflection of your worth, but as a silent paycheck funding your next chapter. You do not have to love the work or the people right now; you just need to use the stability while your real energy goes into the qualification. Once that certificate is finished, the question of whether to stay or go answers itself because your options will finally match your ambition.

The cards reflect the heavy fatigue of feeling stuck in simple tasks while your capability goes unrecognized, symbolized by the Four and Ten of Swords, and that exhaustion makes the financial stability of the minesite feel like a tightrope walk. Enrolling in the Certificate IV is the exact right move because the reversed Two of Coins points directly to weighing your options and preparing to juggle your current security with a planned exit. The busy season will test your patience, but treat your studies as your real work and your current job merely as the funding for your departure, keeping your perspective by knowing this phase has a set expiration date.

The Seven of Coins indicates you are taking stock of a long investment that has paid out in money, but left you hungry for actual capability. If you are being given simple jobs, it is often because employers assign work based on what is easiest, not what you are worth. Waiting for a minesite to suddenly recognize your competence is a gamble. The upside of staying is purely financial, but the psychological toll of feeling undervalued will only compound as the busy season ramps up. Use the steady paycheck to fund your Certificate IV, and treat your current position not as a career, but as a temporary funding source for your exit. Let the qualification be the leverage that removes the need to ask for better opportunities where you aren't being seen.

Will I change jobs soon and what work suits a Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety?

Two years of being undervalued leaves a residue, and what came through first is that this new offer didn't undo it. Your body stopped waiting well before your manager noticed. What I sense around your work is a door opening just as you've stepped away from it. The change is coming, yes, though it looks less like a dramatic exit and more like a handover in the months around your study. Your attention has already moved, and workplaces feel that. The Certificate IV travels well. It tends toward WHS officer or advisor work, site safety coordination in construction, transport, warehousing or aged care, return-to-work coordination, induction and training, and compliance support inside larger organisations. Those rooms reward what you built quietly over two years, which is knowing how a workplace really runs.

Will I stay at my Minesite job and pay off my cottage before I retire?

Buying that cottage this year at fifty-nine is a massive achievement, and carrying the worry of paying it off before your working days close is completely understandable. What the cards show here is a bridge between past heavy efforts and the very practical need to protect your remaining working years. The appearance of the Five of Cups points to earlier setbacks or financial strain that still casts a shadow over your confidence. Right now, symbolized by The Hermit, you are standing back and assessing your position on the minesite carefully, feeling somewhat isolated or worn down by the daily grind. But the reversed Queen of Swords in the future position indicates that staying put passively will eventually lead to frustration or rigid conditions. You are being nudged to look at external training, not to abandon your stability, but to sharpen your edge. Relying solely on the minesite to carry you through to a paid-off mortgage is a gamble when your intuition is already asking for a backup plan. Look into targeted skills or alternate employment now while you still have control over the timing, rather than waiting for the environment to decide for you.

Am I supposed to be with Andy or Kevin, what do the cards say?

The cards open with The Lovers right at the center of the present, pointing to a choice rather than a pre-determined destination. When looking down the path of the first option, the energy carries hesitation and circular thinking, where old issues tend to resurface without leading to a solid footing. The second option moves toward a need for clear boundaries, logic, and intellectual honesty, yet it also suggests a tendency to hold back emotionally until everything feels entirely safe and controlled. Neither choice is handed to you as a simple guarantee; the outcome depends on whether you are looking for emotional familiarity or mental clarity.
