aikoo Credit Terms of Use

(COSA, Inc.)

These In-Service Credit Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "these Terms") set forth the conditions regarding "Credits" (hereinafter referred to as "In-Service Credits") that users purchase and use within the online AI character chat service "aikoo" (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") provided by COSA, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company"). These Terms apply together with the "aikoo Terms of Service" and constitute part of the Terms of Service. Users shall purchase and use In-Service Credits upon agreeing to these Terms.

1. What are In-Service Credits

In-Service Credits are an in-service currency that users can use to access additional features of AI characters, services provided by human providers (creators, etc.), and other services designated by the Company within the Service.

In-Service Credits cannot be:

  • Exchanged for cash or other currencies
  • Transferred, sold, or shared between users
  • Used for services not designated by the Company or external services

In-Service Credits cannot be refunded or converted to cash after purchase.

2. Purchase Method

  • Users can purchase In-Service Credits at the prices displayed on the purchase screen within the Service.
  • Payment methods shall follow those designated by the Company or payment service providers (e.g., credit card payment, in-app purchases, etc.).
  • Minors must obtain consent from their legal guardians before purchasing credits.
  • Users are responsible for any taxes or other fees incurred at the time of purchase.
  • Disputes regarding payment procedures shall be resolved between the payment service provider and the user, and the Company shall not be held responsible.
  • If you enable express checkout, your payment method is stored securely by the Company's payment service provider (e.g., Stripe) and may be reused for future purchases that you initiate. The Company does not hold your card number; it retains only a reference token and limited display information (card brand, last four digits, and expiry).
  • You can review and remove saved payment methods at any time from the settings screen. Removing a payment method does not affect credits already purchased.
  • By completing a purchase with express checkout enabled, you consent to the storage and reuse described above.

3. Credit Allocation

  • In-Service Credits are allocated when the user's purchase process is completed.
  • If you close the app or browser before the purchase process is complete, or if the network connection is unstable, credits may not be allocated properly.
  • After credit allocation, the Company is not responsible for any issues with credits caused by the user's device or account management.

4. Expiration

  • In-Service Credits may have an expiration date. The expiration date will be displayed on the purchase screen or within the Service.
  • In-Service Credits that have passed their expiration date will automatically expire and cannot be refunded or restored.
  • If a user withdraws from the Service, all In-Service Credits held will expire.
  • Even if partially used, the expiration date of the remaining In-Service Credits will not be extended.

5. Prohibited Actions

Users shall not engage in the following actions regarding In-Service Credits:

  • Purchasing, using, or obtaining credits through fraudulent means
  • Manipulating credits using another person's account
  • Tampering with or duplicating credits
  • Any actions deemed inappropriate by the Company

If any of these actions are confirmed, the Company may cancel credits, suspend usage, or suspend accounts.

6. Use by Minors

  • Minors must obtain consent from their legal guardians before purchasing or using credits.
  • Even if a purchase is made without consent, refunds generally cannot be provided.
  • Even if a cancellation is made under civil law, the Company may have an obligation to return only the existing benefit.

7. Suspension and Cancellation of Use

The Company may suspend or cancel all or part of In-Service Credits without notice to the user in the following cases:

  1. Violation of these Terms or the aikoo Terms of Service
  2. Fraudulent use, criminal activity, or suspicion thereof
  3. Payment cannot be confirmed
  4. The Company determines it necessary for operational reasons

The Company shall not be held responsible for any damages incurred by users as a result of these actions.

8. Refunds

  • The Company will not refund In-Service Credits for any reason, except where required by law.
  • If a refund is required by law, the Company will announce it on the Service or Company website and process refunds according to the designated procedures.

9. Service Changes and Suspension

  • The Company may suspend all or part of credit usage due to system maintenance, failures, force majeure, or other circumstances.
  • The Company shall not be held responsible for any damages incurred by users due to such suspension.

10. Amendment of Terms

  • The Company may amend these Terms as necessary.
  • Amended Terms shall take effect upon posting on the Service or Company website.
  • If users use In-Service Credits after the Terms have been amended, they shall be deemed to have accepted the amended Terms.

11. Miscellaneous

Matters not stipulated in these Terms shall be governed by the aikoo Terms of Service.
