Fourfold Cut Reading

A written reading by the Fourfold Cut, Wren's two-stage method, on the question you keep circling: reach out, or hold the line? The deck is cut into four, the pile that holds your card is read first, and seven cards later you have one answer, the timing named, and one step to take.

Description

Wren settles on a court card to stand for you, cuts the deck into four piles, and reads whichever pile your card lands in. Three cards come off that pile: the real shape of the question, the thing you have not admitted yet, and the root of it. From the root card she takes the Count, which carries the timing, and she weighs the suits to read the air around you. Only then does she draw the four cards of the reading itself, across body, heart, mind and ground. She closes by naming what echoes between the two halves, giving you one answer, and handing you a single step small enough to take tomorrow.
